I haven't been here in over 10 years and I'm pretty impressed. There are very few Italian spots in Stockton and most are disappointing. The food was pretty good. I had the crab ravioli, which comes with a soup or salad, and ice cream. Everything tasted good and the service was great. No complaints.
My friends and I lunch here recently and really enjoyed it. We got there right when they opened so the place was practically empty. Our waitress was very attentive and talkative because she did not have a lot of tables to deal with. We started with their bread and butter and salads with the pesto ranch dressing. The dressing is so delicious. Its one of my favorite items at this place, especially when I went there as a kid. Bread was warm, a bit difficult to cut. For my entrée, I had the Manager's Favorite which allows me to pick two sauces. I had the tomato mushroom and the famous Mizithra Cheese and Brown Butter sauces. Both were really tasty. The spaghetti was nicely cooked, not mushy. So much cheese which is awesome. My friends like their entrees too. One had just the Mizithra cheese sauce and the other had the Pot Pourri with four sauces - Mizithra cheese, meat, clam and marinara sauces. For dessert, you get spumoni or vanilla ice cream. We all had spumoni but its not like the spumoni of old. It was basically like a Neapolitan with three flavors. No dried fruit or nuts. Some place else I ate recently did the same thing. Weird. So overall a good lunch. Chatty waitress, good food, good service.
Love going here during lunch hrs. Never busy and get seated immediately. Food was delicious as always. I got the chicken parm and for an appetizer we got the cheesy garlic bread.
Been waiting forever my stomach has touch the bottom of my stomach lining and I was told my food to be here half an hour ago and my milkshake is already gone and my salad is going also The waiter told me three times that my food to be here and then the fourth time he told me to just hold on I could knock no longer hold on I feel like I want to leave but I am trapped because they are surrounded me at the door not to leave because I already ate my salad and also drink my drink now I feel like I'm being trapped inside this restaurant can somebody please help I would recommend going to this restaurant if you feel like waiting a long time but will my food does get here I hope I'll still be able to write my will for my children and tell them I was able to live through the long way of old spaghetti factory. , I just now received my food and it is amazing so after all the complaining I did about waiting I noticed that the food quality personally and also gratifyingly is worth the wait and also the waiter very nice I could recommend going here on the first date that way you and your day can talk for the whole hour that you leave your food and then you guys will not talk for a while because you'd be too busy enjoying the food that you're eating
Love this place. There's never more than a 10 min for a table. Service is almost always excellent! And most of the food is served with lots of butter and cheese!!! So sad it's closing. Last day Dec 30, 2018.
